About Us
ICS was founded in Adelaide in 1963 as a windows and office cleaning service. Tim Austin, still to this day, sits on our board of directors. An Australian grown, family-owned business from grass roots – the organisation has seen and experienced the highs and lows of building a business in Australia. Born of family origins, ICS has been instilled with strong family values since its inception, values which we continue to proudly embrace.
ICS is founded in Adelaide by Conor Austin.
The company passes to Tim Austin, Conor’s son.
ICS secures its first train cleaning contract.
ICS expands into VIC, NSW, ACT and WA.
ICS secures its first bus cleaning contract.
ICS secures its first medical centre cleaning contract
ICS expands into NT, NZ and TAS
ICS secures its first council cleaning contract
ICS secures its first hospital cleaning contract
ICS secures its first rental car cleaning contract
ICS secures its first light rail cleaning contract
ICS expands into the UK and Singapore
ICS secures its first airport cleaning contract
ICS secures its first aged care cleaning contract and provides an industry leading COVID response in AUS, NZ and SE Asia.
Advisory Board is appointed by Tim. Tim stands aside as Chairman and appoints Nigel Gerrard as Chairman.
Darren Boyd joins ICS as CEO.
